Moments make memories. Memories fill a lifetime. Jolene’s stories of growing up in the 50s, being a teen in the 60s and being a woman in the workforce during the 80s opens a window into the culture of each decade. She traces the hand of God in her life at each trial and blessing. Her unique style of writing will make you laugh in one chapter and cry with the next. Excellent memoirs from a woman who chases dreams, cherishes her family, respects her man and loves God.

Jolene's memoir will keep you turning pages. Sharing her struggles and victories from early childhood into her senior years, Jolene gives glory to God in everything. Odd, Funny and Flawed is a good title for this book. The author admits to quirks of character and shares amusing and life-altering episodes of her life while clearly showing how God has been faithful in all things, even in the loss of beloved family members. You will find yourself alternately laughing and crying. Excellent read!
It made me laugh, it made me cry!
